Soul Khan @ Red Clay CD Release Show

This is where you'll find my Filipina drunk ass tonight... Come through

Cost: Payment required - 10.00
B.A.R.O.N. & General Lou B-day show

Through poignant prose and versatile verbalization and under the influences of great jazz, rock and R&B legends, Red Clay produces their own unique brand of hip-hop they call "rugged soul". Members B.A.R.O.N, Probe 4 and General Lou have been seen on stages throughout the city, including Nuyorican Poets Café, Knitting Factory and CBGBs to name a few. Hip-hop critic Gotti (formerly of The Source Magazine) compares the stylings of Red Clay to that of Guru and Premier, preserving the two-turntables-and-a-mic roots of the genre. At 92YTribeca they bring together an all-star line up of hip-hop crusaders to celebrate the release of their new album. Hosted by Northstar of Division X and featuring live painting by Rep DaVinci, the night will include performances by:

Mohammad Dangerfield
John Robinson & Lewis Parker
YC the Cynic
The Band Called FUSE
And of course...Red Clay

Plus Beats played by Marco Polo and music by DJ Dp-One (Turntable Anihilsts & Heavy Hitters).
